AMD 317 Sketch #2
Here is my sketch #2 for the 1000 journals project for AMD 317. I wanted to address the issue of fire nearby my home that has been ongoing for over a week. The Fairview fire started near the mountains in the photograph I took above. I took a photograph of the sun earlier this past week while the smoke hazed it, then I pasted it over a photo I had taken of the mountains before the fire. Overlayed are different news articles and facts from the Cal Fire website on the Fairview Fire which I burned before pasting on top. I wanted to also consider the ways in which fire around us are not wild as we might believe. The Fairview fire is still being investigated today as to whether it could have started from an electrical issue.
