A Personal Design Manifesto

I am a fast working graphic and digital designer, who enjoys the simplistic beauty of design. My work is very minimalistic, as I believe overcomplicating designs is unnecessary and beauty stands from the beginning. I believe design can be used to express all different situations and emotions. Design is a very powerful tool, and when used correctly it can positively (or negatively) impact people. Therefore, designers need to be careful with what messages they are trying to convey. All of my designs have a subconscious meaning, whether stated or not, and it is about looking deeper than the page in front of you. My concept is “Deeper than the eye,” where all of my work has subconscious value, whether stated or not. I believe behind every design is a deeper meaning and further indulgence than what just meets the eye on paper. Designers have tools to turn any design into whatever powerful meaning they choose, and this is where my passion for design comes from. I encourage viewers and other designers to find deeper meaning within their work.
