Multimedia, Web Design
Starfish Foundation is an organization with the commitment to raise and provide funds for emotionally traumatized veterans. Their work involves: providing scholarships and sponsorship for emotional healing programs, as well as promoting individual empowerment, wholeness and personal growth. In addition, with Starfish Foundation growing every year, they have also, generously provided grants to other non-profit organizations, even though it may not be their primary focus.

Proposal:
After viewing Starfish Foundation’s website and their contents, I felt that the website did not meet up to their mission statement. I wanted to rebrand Starfish Foundation, and showcase their beautiful goals and dreams that the organization had envisioned. What the website needed was a unique professional layout that was personal to their organization, as well as some visual aesthetic treatment. Several of the contents on the website is lengthy and appears cluttered, creating an unpleasant visual suffocation. I want to break down each content and lay them out piece by piece so that it may offer a better reading flow.
I wanted to focus on things that would make the website appear like a peaceful and dedicated place to help veterans through their trauma. Words that came to mind were "heal, happiness, family, and joy." I searched those words and saw that many of these terms have similar color palette of yellow, orange, and blue. Instantly, I knew that my color palette had to be shaped around these colors because if people believed that these colors represent "heal, happiness, family, and joy," then it would definitely be visually pleasing.
