Born and raised in Byblos (Gubla), I’m lucky to have bits of me descending from the Phoenician
civilization.
And It’s a bit sad that the Phoenician language has not been adopted across the generations; however, to keep our culture alive, a lot of people use sculptures, and other forms of art to share with the world who we are and what we conquered.
That is the story behind “ P I E C E O F P H O E N I C I A ”. I’m personally using my love for painting to visualize and embody the beautiful history of my beloved people, those people who were the first to introduce language to the world.
