Curtis Coonrod's profile

The Indiana Township Association

When not serving as a certified public accountant (CPA) at Curtis L. Coonrod & Company, Curtis "Curt" L. Coonrod supports local nonprofits. One group Curtis Coonrod is a part of is the Indiana Township Association (ITA).

The ITA consists of elected officials who govern the state’s townships. ITA comprises over 1,000 townships, of which over 700 were IDA members. The organization provides resources for each township’s elected officials to better serve their populations and lobby for legislation favoring the township structure. As of 2022, it consisted of over 3,000 elected officials, either township board members or trustees.

The ITA offers two membership types: the township and associate versions. The township membership, intended for elected officials, grants access to exclusive online resources, like document templates and prior annual proceedings for its fall conference.

The associate membership allows like-minded companies to offer their products and services to township members, whether at the annual trade show or via the ITA’s recommendation. Each membership type’s membership dues depend on the financial value of the candidate’s township of residence.
