Synopsis
The Raging Winds of Zephyr is a side-scrolling shooter I made in the fall of 2012 for an
Interactive Media class at Bradley University. The assignment was to take two words randomly pulled from a cup and create a game from them. The words my team got were "wind" and "robot", so naturally we made a game about a wind god fighting against a robot army. All the fun!

I contributed a great deal to this project, but it was a team effort. My team only consisted of myself, and the artist Laura Schirmer. A lot of the concept work was contributed from both of us, but I took the lead on the project as the director.

The game was programmed in Unity using JavaScript and the soundtrack was composed using FL Studio.

As levels progress, the sun or the moon raises to signify how close you are to finishing the level. With this, the sky also gradually changes color.
Zephyr fights Silver Shooters and Gold Zoomers above the forest.
Inbetween levels there are comic scenes to drive the games narrative.
Some Gold Shooters in the desert think cowboy hats are fasionable in the middle of an invasion.
Soundtrack
"Protector of Earth!"
"Cloudy Contemplation"
"City Rescue"
"Fanfare"
"Forest Infiltration"
"Desert Ambush"
"Inner Workings"
"The World is Lost"
