Interesting Facts About Godzilla

        The project given is to create a 1-1.5 minutes info-motion graphic about a PSA Message, but we were given freedom to choose other topics as well so the topic I chose is about Godzilla. Why Godzilla? With movies like Pacific Rim being quite successful and gaining more fans, it is safe to assume for now that the hype for monster movies is quite high so I thought this will be good time to make a video about the King Of Monsters(Kaijus), Godzilla.

        Instead of doing a make believe PSA about Godzilla, I thought it would be more fun to know about some interesting facts that we never heard before. The facts I’ve used are like the origins of his roar, how heavy the suit weighed, how the name came to be and so on. All of this is also good to build hype for the new movie coming out next year.

        The style I’ve used for this project is vector based and the reason is because I want it to look simple yet vibrant to suit the whole 50s movie feel to it. This is also because monster movies are usually very B-Grade looking so this is what I want to stick with.

        The music was particularly hard to choose because I originally wanted to go with something slow but after going for critic sessions, I’ve decided on the remixed version of the song called “Hip Hop Beat - Godzilla'Z Rapbeat”. This song was able to give me the beat I can sync with the animation thus making it more fast paced and not so boring.

        The final product turned quite what I’ve expected. If given more time I would have made it longer and more interesting though I’m still quite pleased with it.
