The Boy's Escape

Made with scripts inspired by stories created by children from 4 to 12 years old for the project "A Chave" of the Methodist University of Piracicaba: UNIMEP- Brazil.

Illustrator: Mariane R Cândido
Production Designer: Lilian Bison
History of the child

“There's a lizard at the door… giant lizard. He was afraid of people and so
broke down the door and now he's climbed up a mountain. Then he found a
little boy, so he made friends with the little boy. [long pause] (What had
on this mountain?). A dragon. . [long pause] (what was that mountain like?).
Square and was red. She... a dinosaur came and had a bridge, hence the
lizard... because the dinosaur wanted to take the little boy and eat it... hence the lizard
took the bridge and took it to another place, then the dinosaur fell off a bridge. ”

SKETCHES AND PROCESS

It is really fun to animate during the creation process, including the sketches, and not only at the final stage. You can see the illustration becoming alive while you draw with the Photoshop.
