Conservation of water is essential in our modern society considering the fact that potable water is a scarce commodity. A great majority of individuals are oblivious to statistics pertaining to water usage on their premises; he/she is prone to the callous habit of misusing water resources. We propose to bring a paradigm shift with the introduction of our water management system, Pragmatic Plumbware.
This system proposes to manage, allocate, control and manipulate the way water resources are used and monitored in a residential apartment.
Monitoring of leaks, blocks, theft, water usage and automatic control of faucets, motors and sprinkling units is ensured with this application.
The user will be able to monitor all water statistics, graphs will be presented, text messaging alerts users on vacation and the user will be able to play God by controlling taps, faucets, motor and sprinkling units with from the convenience of their mobile phone. Automatic switch- off taps for filling a bucket, resetting of devices from any part of the world is made possible.
Billing, impurity detection, temperature monitoring, safety indication and log generation is possible with the use of our system.
Pragmatic Plumbware is a revolutionary product, derived from the collaborating technologies of two .NET based languages, three web based services, microcontroller based technologies managing hundreds of tiny components spanning many sensor units, motors, a plethora of controllers and meters of wiring destined to change the face of the industry for low cost automated water management systems and alleviate the limited resources of drinking water society by managing the hassles of water management and control. This product has not only won the innovative product award at IAME (International Academy of Management & Entrepreneurship) but has also gained recognition at the international conference ICON BSES.
