Compartir el asombro que me causó descubrir el #sanpedro de guatire y disfrutar de su colorido y riqueza musical, observar como una tradición instaurada desde el siglo XIX, por un milagro ocurrido a una esclava de nombre María Ignacia , que le rogó al san pedro sanar a su hija "Rosa Ignacia"de una fiebre, y a cambio ella bailaria todos los #29 de #Junio y así paso, el milagro ocurrió y su hija sano. Por ende Maria Ignacia baila hasta nuestros días.

Observar como el amor maternal rompe con el tiempo y el espacio, llevando esa misma fe, esa misma devoción, ese mismo agradecer al santo que es la piedra angular de la iglesia cristiana y que ahora se ve multiplicado en el culto de las maría ignacias de cada parranda llevando la bendición del santo Pedro por todas las calles de guarenas y guatire.

Siendo ahora patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la humanidad por la @unesco desde el 2013

Share the amazement that caused me to discover the #sanpedro de guatire and enjoy its color and musical richness, observe as a tradition established since the nineteenth century, by a miracle that occurred to a slave named María Ignacia, who begged san pedro to heal to her daughter "Rosa Ignacia" from a fever, and in exchange she would dance every #29 of #June and that's how it happened, the miracle happened and her daughter healed. Therefore, Maria Ignacia dances to this day.

Observing how maternal love breaks with time and space, carrying that same faith, that same devotion, that same gratitude to the saint who is the cornerstone of the Christian church and who is now multiplied in the cult of the Maria Ignacias of each parranda carrying the blessing of Saint Pedro through all the streets of Guarenas and Guatire.

Being now intangible cultural heritage of humanity by @unesco since 2013
