Our approach for the Mosaic Music Festival this year is to let the performing artists take centrestage, literally. By utilising a carefully-calculated grid system, we created a visual tour of performing artists accompanied by imagery and event details.

 

Not wanting to overshadow the acts, the design of the website was deliberately kept minimal. Allowing the richness of the music and personalities to come up. An interactive festival calendar allowed attendees to easily sift out information with a simple scroll or click.

 

The biggest challenge was the calculation of equal sized boxes for a responsive website that caters to myriad screen sizes. It had to look good on HD screens as well as the smallest of mobile phones.
