I Ching to (Easy) Ching

Inspiration
I Ching is one of the five Classics, the fundamental books of Confucianism.
In my design, I mix different materials, different types graphic techniques, and different approaches, the design includes 5 elements: the book, the coins, the necklace, the soap and the Mobile phone chain. All the design elements are put inside a white box.
The white box represents OLD YANG
This card in box represents OLD YIN
The book explains the meaning of different hexagrams and includes the Photography that shows the patterns of hexagrams in our everyday life environment . I organized this book in a very systematic way. It has 8 parts, When people divine ,they can easily find the meaning of the hexagram from the 8 groups
The book does not have a name, just a tortoise pattern on the cover, because in ancient China people burn the tortoise-shell for divination.
Cover is black and pages are white to represent Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang is an important concept in Chinese philosophy .
In divination, on should use the 3 coins. The 3 coins could be found in a small bag. On this bag there is a circle pattern that represents the "circle of life", with no absolute good and no absolute evil. The bag has the card label which helps the readers to remember that when tossing coins there are four situations.
I designed three necklace in the transparent packaging, representing the dualistic cosmology, something that can not described by words. The  necklaces symbolize Yin and Yang and teh mix of Yin and Yang that turn to trigram. When people understand the concept of the dualistic cosmology, they can understand the concept of I Ching.
Before divination, everyone has to wash hands,in order to relax and meditate on what they want to find out in the process of divination. In my design, the soap is made out of citrus wood and oil, all of it being organic materials, It doesn't have any packaging, it is just in a bag that can be reused for a new soap.
FU and LU in I-Ching are 2 hexagrams. calabash ( The Chinese pronunciation is "HU LU")
