SHARP CHEDDAR: Initially designed in electric tape, Sharp Cheddar is a playful, 70’s cartoon-inspired typeface with unique forms.

Above is my type specimen for Sharp Cheddar, to the song ‘Tank!’ composed by Yoko Kanno. Inspired by title sequences of the 70’s, I paid close attention to the works of Saul Bass for Hitchcock films like ‘Psycho’ as well as the song’s spy-fantasy theme that utilises swing jazz. Stills below.
