Warm days of summer, direction to the Northeast, a strong storm on the road, a thousand of kilometers across the forest of this vast country. Several times passing by the Volga, some cities with a heavy history, lost villages in the middle of the forest, passing inside the Golden ring. Going back to Moscow and driving at night in this giant city full of energy.

During a strong storm, I stopped at the first motel on the road called Alaska. Why would a motel have such a name here, near the city of Totma?
I was blocked in the car due to the thunder storm, so i decided to google it. Totma is old. First mentioned around 1138, Totma became a place of trading and the main place for the exploration of Alaska... thousands and thousands of kilometers in the east.
