The goal of this project was to pretend the Lost Type Co-op had ordered me to design a perpetual calendar as a year-end gift to their supporters. The only requirements were that it feature their typefaces exclusively and be mailable in a standard #0 bubble mailer.

In order to showcase the typefaces I opted for a simple, clean layout. One feature of the typefaces Lost Type distributes is that they are vintage-inspired. I echoed this choice by choosing a retro/vintage color palette offset by a heavy-weight cream paper. A simple kraft paper assembly both folds flat for mailing and pops up to support the calendar on a desk. A simple, useful, elegant gift that would surely remain on the desk of each recipient for at least a year, and perhaps even more.
