Located in beautiful Macedonia we find Ostraka. Where a skilled team of artisans designs, molds and bakes a unique range of pottery items. From practical plates and cups, to extravagant vases and bowls. At Ostraka practicality and minimalism stand front and center. Their mission is to bring back a human connection in a world where mass manufacturing is the default. 

The team takes the craft and its history close to heart. That inspired the name "Ostraka". Which means "a piece of pottery", usually broken off from a vase or other earthenware vessel. In an archaeological context, "ostraca" refers to shards that contain scratched writings. Reflecting the history of the craft. A geometrical and strong logo counterbalances the organic nature of the craft. And resembles the no frills, minimal approach to their work. The monotone color palette adds a modern and grounded touch. Complemented by an earthy orange. Hinting to the genuineness, warmth and clay.
