When asked to design a quick poster for the Anthony Burrill lecture at the Manchester School of Art, myself and three other students leaped at the chance to have a go at it. What beats some good ol' paper and ink anyway? The poster was to be letterpressed, in a mishmash of different type styles from the letterpress facility that we had available to us, to reflect Anthony's poster style.

The message at the bottom read "Ask more questions" to prompt students to get those stiff arms up and to not be shy, avoiding that tedious moment at the end of the lecture when addressed with the bleak statement
of  "Any questions?".

We printed the poster in 3 different palettes of Green, Red and Gold on Black, which was given to Anthony for the fantastic lecture.
