____
SPRING BE LIKE WATER
Spring is a structure that works on compression if there is an impact. Water in Uganda is like a spring. If people do not walk to get water or do not use the money to buy water from neighbours, there will be no water to use. If a spring is not subject to force, it will not work. The longer the spring is compressed, the stronger the force. Springs help a high-flying object fly farther.
7 million Ugandans lack access to safe water and 28 million do not have access to improved sanitation facilities. Further, due to disparities in water access in Uganda, urban people living in poverty pay as much as 22 percent of their income to access water from water vendors.
