Hi all! I am glad to show my little author's pop-up book village.
The idea came to me suddenly, and I made the book for the soul, not obeying the rules.
I myself live in the countryside. In the 19th century, there were dachas of the Russian intelligentsia, there was a theater where the opera singer Fyodor Chaliapin came to perform. Now the old houses have been preserved in the village. I love to walk, look at them, take pictures and draw.
Unfortunately, now many of them are ownerless, I don’t take care of them, they demolish and build modern houses. Therefore, in my book, I tried to preserve the atmosphere of antiquity and simple village life.
As materials, I used plain paper glued with adhesive tape in advance, Winsor and Newton indelible ink, tree branches and skewers. I wanted to convey texture and give the drawing a free touch.
