A Journal of the Awakening Reflections
Most of the time not seeing a problem as an issue may help to override concerns and anxiety, but there are times when pain also brings soul into existence.

An experimental project that unfolds the paradox of pain literally and physically. Each illustration is illustrated based on the themes covered, and is then packaged and featured on the other side of the black box.

In the theme, Fairytale Gone Wrong, it looks at the traumatic bond to abandonment. Being attached to somebody that hurt us is not what we deserved. As paradoxical as it sounds, the more pain someone causes you, the more attached you feel. It is just like how we constantly seek for a fairytale that land us in a nightmare as prince charming or princess turned to be a wicked villain that casted a spell to make us stay faithful to their antagonistic behaviour.

In the concept of standing on no solid ground, we form an identity upon instilling pain within us. We tend to create a pseudo sense of comfort self and hence we abuse ourselves to seek suffering as a drug to ecstasy.

As pain maybe the centrepoint of our salvation, it contains additives that is hard to quit and causes internal damage in the long run.
