Samay–an infographic
Project Samay aims at portraying time as defined and explained in our vedas. Time as defined by our vedas is not linear as the normal convention we have been following today;rather it is a rhythm that repeats itself in different intervals. Time here is based on the movement of astronomical bodies. The following project descibes in detail all the time elements ranging from the smallest unit in the range of nanoseconds  uptil the age of Brahma-the creator. The data for this project was collected  primarily from the english translation of Surya Siddhanta a 500BC treatise comprised by Varahamihira; dated 1860 as well as from wikipedia and a few vedic sites like veda.wikdot.com.
Samay aims at visualizing all this data in a compact , comprehensible manner via the medium of several infographics. Natural forms and geometry were explored in order to represent the information in the most suitable manner.
