Co-founders Ryan Babenzien and Arjan Singh approached DorisDev to add design and elegance to an insider beauty hack... Filtering your shower water. Unfiltered water could cause hair discoloration and damage, dry skin, acne and even dandruff — and worsen pre-existing issues like eczema or rosacea. The goal from the program was to build a best in class showerhead with the ease and design sensibility of the very best DTC brands. The result was Jolie.

Design a wellness & beauty forward showerhead.
PROCESS
Phase 1. Foundation Research
Conduct competitive research in current shower head market, identity key design opportunities:
• Weak aesthetic
• Poor user experience - complicated installation
Phase 2. Design Exploration
Began gathering form inspiration and translated them into moodboards. Finding forms, specifying UI/UX and feature consideration through sketchings.
Phase 3. Design Refinement
Further refined the interaction experience & engineering of chosen design direction
