Women in science and technology
national project to attract women to science

Hi! I am pleased to share a new charity project from the Fund for the Development of Professional Initiatives "Women of the Nuclear Industry".
Pls enjoy!
The task was to draw 5 posters for printing, agitating women to go into science.
Here final works.
The 1st poster.
The first poster depicts three female scientists in "all weapons" with the appropriate attributes of science. At first I drew a rough sketch, then gradually began to refine it. After the sketch was approved I started drawing in illustrator.
references and sketches
References. For the project I chose purple, blue and green gradients, because I associate them with science.
The 2nd poster.
I decided that the second poster will cover astronomy. Space smoothly flows into the formulas which woman scientist writes. The phrase "understand each other without words" is very suitable.

I drew additional lines as an element of the swiftness and constant development of science. It was more difficult to depict the curved shape of the flowing formulas.
The 3rd poster.
Third poster is about botany. I wanted to portray a botanist girl dreaming of a green, healthy and eco-friendly world. I decided to make the poster darker to diversify the previous works.

The 4th poster.
The customer wished me to depict the atom. I thought how is nuclear physics useful for humanity and how can the world be improved? After reading a few articles, I came up with a female hand that contains all the benefits of nuclear physics.

I chose the play of light and shadow to express the bright, illuminating future of science. The trembling lines and dynamics emphasize the idea of progress that never stands still.
The 5th poster.
Another popular science now is robotics. The robots that will benefit are no longer science fiction. And women scientists will help in the creation of advanced technologies.
references and rough sketch
In conclusion I want to attach a few sketches, which I decided to refuse, and as well i want to show how the illustrations look in outlines :)
Review.
"Excellent cooperation with a volunteer, we understood each other perfectly. Evelin approached the task very creatively, offering different options."

P.s
And this is an invitation and ready-made printed posters.
It was an interesting project :)
Thank you all for your attention!
