Mountain Brook High School and the Birmingham Tip Off Club hired KESG to manage the Steel City Invitational, a 16-team boys basketball tournament, on December 19-21 at Samford University’s Pete Hanna Center and Seibert Hall.With two months of preparation, our staff negotiated a facility contract with Samford University, created a new brand for the tournament, sold nearly $20,000 in sponsorships, created a comprehensive signage and digital board plan, and planned all operational logistics of the tournament including the hiring of staff and volunteers.This tournament was an overwhelming success and has received very high reviews from coaches, student-athletes, fans and media.
