01 | East Falls Bridge Documentation
Multiple types of media were used to document the East Falls bridge, including a site sketch of the surrounding area and  a one point perspective sketched drawing.
Four pictures of the bridge were taken to show its structure, location, and interaction with the site surrounding it.
In order to reconstruct the bridge, i took interior photographs panning across the inside in order to give a full view of being inside. The pictures were then arranged in a collage format.
02 | Implied Perspectives
To further reconstruct the bridge, i redrew certain components of the bridge in order to somewhat highlight an area. In the above picture, i wanted to highlight the repeating structure within the bridge by redrawing a single one.
In this picture i tried to capure some of the detail that goes into the bridgeand establisha sense of hierarchy between the trusses and the inner railing.
03 | Manipulation
Photoshop was used on these pictures to fix them, and change them in order to show a design aspect of the bridge. here i tried to frame the bridge with the branches, and remove branches that were directly in front of it.
Here i wanted to adjust the amount of light that was visible under the bridge to show a further understanding of its structure from below

in this project i mimicked the previous project by redrawing a closer portion of the bridge in order to highlight the detail of the bridge. this picture shows the structure of an individual truss, and some of the decay that it is accumulating.
05 | Representation of an Object Sketched and Shaded
Moving away from the bridge, here i orthographically represented an object of my choosing, a gillete fusion razor blade. these drawings were sketched and laid out to show relationship between eachother.
06 | Representation of an Object Analog Drafting
The next step was to draft and align the drawings, to give them more of a relationship and give a sense of scale by adding measurements.
07| Representation of an object using vectors
Now that we drafted our objects, we furthered the drawings by recreating them in illustrator. the use of digital drawing and line weights made the drawings relly show more information
08| Free swim
Free swim was a chance for us to revisit a project and re-do it, and i chose to reevaulate my vector drawings of the razor. I gave them lineweights and completed any missing pparts of the drawings.
09| Constructs
Constructs was a porject where we were taught ways to beautify and photoedit our various studio work in order to better our self representation
The original images of the Kaufmann Desert house model i built with the help of my partner
The Photoshopped images with various changes made
10| Instructionals
Instructionals was a very creative project, where we were to esign an instructional graphic that illustrated an activity of our choosing. i chose to teach about how spongebob blows bubbles using his patented technique.
11| Barnes Foundation Documentation
Sketched views of the barnes foundation that show my two concepts: The use of perspective and symmetry.
My 4 photographs that also attempt to capture these concepts.
My digital collage that attempted to recreate the usage of perspective.
12| Self Representation
This project was a chance for us to polish our portfolio cretion skills, in order to more professionally represent ourselves.
The reoccurring grpahic i used as a chapter marker and guide for my portfolio, separating each project.
13| Re-Cover
This project asked for us to use context we knew of from a famous book, and taking that context into a new design for the book's cover. For my book, i chose the first installment of The Lord Of The Rings trilogy.

The spread of my cover. the front cover (right) attempts to show the ring, with corruption surrounding it to represent the ring's influence. the valley behind it represents the journey that the books overall narrate. the back cover shows the 9 nazgul that follow frodo in his quest, and is intentionally dark in order to personify the peril that follows in the fellowship's footsteps.
14| Graphic
Project 14 was to design a lecture poster for a given architecture school, based on information we researched from the school. it was a similar exercise to the book cover, and my school to design for was MIT
My poster held a very technological theme, with neon like colors and a circuitboard resembling shape that laid out the text of the poster.
15| Design Perspectives

The final project was a free range assignment. we had the option to make any two images that would support our current studio project using all that we have learned in the class this semester.
