Vivadança is an international festival that takes place in Salvador-BA and brings together the most diverse styles and modalities of dance, promoting dialogues and artistic exchanges in the form of presentations, workshops, seminars and exhibitions.
Founded in 2007 by the director and artistic curator Cristina Castro, Vivadança plays an important role in the internationalization and dissemination of dance in Bahia and Brazil.
In this concept project I sought to represent the diversity that the Festival embraces, mixing dances from all around the world (as Ballet, HipHop, Flamenco, Afro, Belly dance, Lindy Hop, Tango) with brazilian dances (as Samba and Forró) in illustrations that bring an irreverent and fun tone to the advertising pieces.
It was a really cool project to do, because it combines two things I love: illustration and dancing!
