Master Project
The subject of the Master's Thesis is the project of Rehabilitation Center in Trzebnica.
The location for this rehabilitation center was chosen because of environmental values
and healthy microclimate. The chosen lot is located in “Park Zdrojowy” that once was
part of health-resort. In the nearest neighborhood there are Water Park “Zdrój” and
hotel “Trzebnica”. Equally important are also other buildings close to the plot. One of
them is “Dom Zdrojowy” in which is now Department of Geodesy and Cartography.
The other one is “Hotel Zdrojowy”, in this building in the near future is expected to
create a music school. Two years ago the whole area has undergone complete
revitalization. That venture improved the attractiveness of this place, and now it is
interesting area to start new investment especially of health subject.
The main function of the building will be offering treatment and rehabilitation in the
form of hydrotherapy, magnet therapy, electrotherapy and physiotherapy. Patients will
be able to use one-time as well as long-term medical treatment with the possibility to
stay longer in one of the rooms located in the hotel part of this building. There is also a
plan to locate a small clinic in the facility, in which patients would be able to consult with a specialist .

The building has a terraced form because of shape of terrain thus it was located on a
hill with height difference equal 10 m. In east part on level 0.00 is located entrance hall
connected with the clinic, and on level +4.90 administration. In the mid part on level
1.80 parking is placed, and on level 4.90 open atrium which connects rehabilitation part 50
situated in north and hotel part in south. On the other hand in west part of the building
swimming pool is placed.

people with medical conditions and would improve patients recovery. The selected
location is rich in natural greenery. In the recovery process is important not only the
professional aid but as well as the contact with the nature.
