My collection of fabrics was based on peepal tree. The images of the tree formed the reference for the textures associated with the tree and added an Indian twist to my colour palette. The fabrics essentially retain      an Indian look and feel but are perfectly suited to Ritu kumar’s Indian yet contemprary design sensibility for                                                                     whom the collection was developed.
