Cautionary Tales for Children - Reinterpretation

The brief - Reinterpret Hilaire Belloc's 'Cautionary Tales for Children' in a way that is suitable for an adult target audience.
Result - We took inspiration from punk art and exaggerated caricatures to come up with a catchy lowbrow style. We also settled on a bright, energetic colour palette, suitable to depict our 'not-so-proper' illustrations.
The illustrators we looked at for inspiration included works by Josh Holinaty, Kyle Platts, Josh Bayer amongst others.
This was a group assignment and I was the illustrator. All images present in the main body of this project have been created by me.
