Participating illustration for the illustration competition Santiago en 100 palabras.
The story for which the illustration is based, tells the story of two characters who meets now and then on a certain pool where they try to reach and connect to each other trough the distance and show their true colors on the surface of the waters.
After reading the story a couple of times, I inferred and built a secondary visual story in which the main character goes into the waters as in a place of confusion or the unknown to reveal their origins and meet the reflection of their true colors and true self. Is the water the starting place of this journey of self discovery and salvation.
