DGI Magazine is a top-tier international defense magazine with a substantial global readership, reporting on related news of global defense on different regions of the world. Defense Guardian International (DGI) aspires to be a leading nationally and internationally recognized magazine specializing in Defense, Security Studies, Intelligence, and International Relations. The DGI will continue to create future leaders and disseminate knowledge in its areas of specialization which will contribute to making Pakistan amongst the leading countries of the world and assist the international community in finding sustainable and equitable defense solutions to common challenges facing the world. This project is only showcasing glimpses of DGI quarterly magazine featuring some of news sections including global headlines, Factsheets, contract updates, region based news.

Responsibilities:
* Leading a team of copyrighter to curate, select and modify 400 articles according to the expected word count per spread.
* Selection of images used in the articles, editing & retouching them to make all of the visuals useable in the magazine.
* Making sure all the provided content is plagiarism free and organized for the process of designing.
* Strategic division of articles into news sections to make the layout consistent.
* Designing cover, magazine ads & Layouts of entire magazine including color palette, typography & article placement.
Challenges:
* The biggest challenge on this project was to handle a vast scope to ensure launch deadlines while designing a consistent news magazine look that meets the international magazine standard. Editing & Selection of imagery that matches the vibe of each article while curating news sections was the most exciting but struggling part of this project.
