I am a coffee addict. When I was asked to create a brand for a new cafe, the first thing that came to mind was, first let me get a coffee. That’s where the name
came from, JAI-MAKE-A-BREW, which also translates into Jamaican Brew.
It is a cafe and a bar; a place where you start the day with a cup of coffee,
and come again to share a glass of mimosa with friends.
The branding was inspired by the Memphis Art Movement; bright colours, geometric shapes and bold patterns. The logo is a compilation of a dirty martini,
a pour-over coffee maker, leaf, coffee bean, a coffee mug,
lemon slice with some fizz and books.
