2/3 home is an expandable backpacking tent that can be used by changing the shape of the tent to suit various environments. According to the changed shape, it can be used according to the season and the number of people, so you can enjoy a variety of backpacking through one tent.

2/3 home은 다양한 환경에 맞게, 텐트의 형태를 변화하며 사용 할 수 있는 확장형 백패킹 텐트입니다. 변화된 형태에 따라 계절별, 인원별에 맞추어 사용 할 수 있어 하나의 텐트를 통해 다양한 백패킹을 즐길 수 있게 합니다.

The backpacking tent varies depending on the situation, environment, and number of people. In particular, tunnel-type tents are wind-friendly and have excellent indoor habitability, so they are commonly used as backpacking tents for 2-3 people in winter. However, it has such a large volume that it is difficult to install in a small space, and the disadvantage is that it weighs more than a regular backpacking tent.

Alpine tents are compact in size and are used in all weather conditions. Smaller size for easy installation in any environment. Typically used as a backpacking tent for 1-2 people. However, the small size is less habitable than the tunnel-type tent, and even if it is a two-person tent, the habitability of two or more people is not good.

백패킹 텐트는 상황과 환경, 인원에 따라 다양한 형태를 가지고 있습니다. 특히 터널형 텐트는 바람에 유리한 구조임과 동시에 실내 거주성이 탁월하여 일반적으로 겨울철 2-3인용 백패킹 텐트로 사용됩니다. 하지만 그만큼 큰 부피를 가지고 있어 좁은 공간에는 설치가 어렵고, 일반 백패킹 텐트에 비해 무거운 무게를 가진다는 단점이 있습니다.

알파인 텐트는 컴팩트한 사이즈로 전천후로 사용됩니다. 작은 사이즈로 어느 환경에서도 무난하게 설치가 가능하며, 설치가 쉽습니다. 일반적으로 1-2인용 백패킹 텐트로 사용됩니다. 하지만 작은 사이즈로 실내거주성이 터널형 텐트에 비해 떨어져 2인용 텐트라고 할지라도 2인 이상 사용 시 거주성이 좋지않다라는 단점이 있습니다.

이렇듯, 특장점이 분명한 터널형 텐트와 알파인 텐트, 이 두가지가 조합되어 새로운 형태와 기능을 가진 텐트가 나올 수 있지 않을까? 라는 생각으로 2/3 home 프로젝트가 시작되었습니다. 두가지 타입의 텐트의 장점을 조합하여 계절과 환경, 인원에 상관없는 새로운 타입의 텐트를 제작하기위해 다양한 스터디를 수행하였습니다.

The first step was to build a tent that could perform both the functions of a tunnel-type tent and an alpine tent through modeling. After that, we actually did a little woodworking to verify its function. As a result of the test, Type 1 has the best function. so we decided to develop Type 1 further.

첫번째 과정으로 터널형 텐트와 알파인텐트의 기능을 모두 수행 할 수 있는 형태의 텐트를 모델링을 통해 제작하게 되었습니다. 그 후 실제로 작은 사이즈의 목업을 진행하며 그 기능성을 검증하게 되었습니다. 테스트를 진행한 결과, 타입 1의 형태가 가장 기능성이 우수하여 타입 1을 발전시키게 되었습니다.

To develop Type 1 and test for more detailed stability, we did woodwork in a larger form with nylon 15D fabric used in actual tents. As a result, we were able to meet all of the functionality that fits the development purpose of the 2/3 home.

타입 1을 발전시켜 더 세밀한 안정성을 테스트하기 위해 우리는 실제 텐트에 쓰이는 나일론 15D 원단으로 좀더 큰 형태로 목업을 진행하였습니다. 그 결과, 2/3 home의 개발목적에 부합하는 기능성을 모두 충족시킬 수 있었습니다.

In order to develop a tent that can function as a real tent, we got various materials used in the real tent and made a real tent. 20D fabric coated with sl/pu was used, and MONOLITE lip-stop nylon mesh was used for the ventilation. The pole wanted to ensure stability using a DAC press fit 8.7mm tent pole, and various plastic subsidiary materials used a compatible dac part and a Woojin plastic part to improve completeness.

우리는 실제 텐트의 기능을 할 수 있는 텐트를 개발하기 위해 실제 텐트에 사용되는 다양한 재료들을 구해 실제 텐트를 제작하게 되었습니다. 원단은 sl/pu 코팅이 된 20D 원단을 사용하였고, 벤틸레이션부분에는 MONOLITE 립스탑 나일론 메쉬를 사용하였습니다. 폴대는 DAC 프레스핏 8.7mm 텐트폴을 사용하여 안정성을 확보하고자 하였으며, 각종 플라스틱 부자재들은 폴대와 호환되는 dac 부품, 우진플라스틱 부품을 사용해 완성도를 높혔습니다.

There are two types of two-thirds home depending on the user's purpose. Duo mode, the basic form of 2/3 home, is made of a two-person tent in the form of an alpine tent. It consists of one main pole and two ridge poles, which are characterized by an expanded indoor living space. It is made of compact size and light weight, which is the advantage of Alpine Tent, and is suitable for all weather conditions because it can be installed quickly and easily in its unique form.

2/3 home은 사용자의 목적성에 따라 두가지 형태가 존재합니다. 2/3 home의 기본형인 'Duo mode'는 알파인 텐트의 형태로 2인용 텐트로 제작되었습니다. 하나의 메인폴과 두개의 릿지폴로 구성되어 있어 실내 거주공간을 넓힌 것이 특징입니다. 알파인텐트의 장점인 컴팩트한 사이즈, 가벼운 무게로 제작되었으며 특유의 형태로 빠르고 쉬운 설치가 가능하여 전천후로 사용하기 적합합니다.

Insert the main pole into the pole sleeve to shape it, and adjust the tension of the tent using two ridge poles. You can then pack down each corner of the tent to finish the installation. It is designed to withstand the wind safely through a bow-like bent tent, and the tent interior has a hexagonal shape, allowing the vestibule to exist at the top and bottom of the tent.

폴대 슬리브로 메인폴대를 집어넣어 모양을 잡고, 두개의 릿지폴을 이용하여 텐트의 텐션을 조정합니다. 그 후 텐트의 각 모서리를 팩다운 하여 설치를 끝낼 수있습니다. 활처럼 휘어진 텐트 형태를 통해 바람에 안전하게 버틸 수 있도록 설계되었고, 텐트 실내 모양은 육각형의 형태를 띄고 있어 텐트의 상하단에 전실이 존재 할 수 있습니다.

It's called Trio mode, an extension of 2/3 home. The 'Duomode' can be divided into two parts, and a separate tent extension part can be connected to the center to transform the tent into a tunnel-type tent. Through this modified form, it can be used for three people, and the tunnel-type tent can have a high habitability and wind-friendly structure, making it advantageous to be used in winter.

2/3 home의 확장형태인 'Trio mode' 입니다. 'Duo mode'를 두 파트로 나누고, 중앙엔 별도의 텐트확장 파츠를 연결하여 텐트를 터널형 텐트로 변화시킬 수 있습니다. 이렇게 변형된 형태를 통해 3인용으로 사용이 가능하며 터널형 텐트가 가지는 높은 거주성, 바람에 유리한 구조를 가질 수 있게되어 겨울철에 사용되기 유리합니다.

As with conventional tunneled tents, two main poles can be inserted into the pole sleeve to form tunneled tents. The intermediate tent extension can be transformed into a "trio mode" by opening the zipper used as the entrance to the tent to separate the tent area and combining the zipper of the tent extension compatible with the separated tent area. Through this form, it has a large indoor space that can be used by three people and has a porch on the left and right sides, further strengthening the habitability.

일반 터널형 텐트와 동일하게, 2개의 메인폴대를 폴 슬리브에 폴대를 집어넣어 터널형 텐트의 형태를 구축 할 수 있습니다. 중간 텐트확장 파츠는 'Duo mode'에서 텐트 출입문으로 씌였던 지퍼를 반대쪽까지 열어 텐트면적을 분리시키고, 분리된 텐트면적과 호환되는 텐트확장 파츠의 지퍼를 결합하여 'Trio tent'로 변형시킬 수 있습니다. 이러한 형태를 통해 3인이 사용하기에도 널널한 크기의 실내공간을 가지게 되며, 좌우측의 전실공간을 마련할 수 있어 거주성을 더욱 강화시킬 수 있습니다.
