September 2010.
Fatboy, who initiated this project and is represented by Nüline in Canada, was looking for a new way to implant his products into his retailers' shop. As designers, we were asked to conceive a minimum space of 25 square foot that would be scalable to adapt the space allowed by the retailer.

After analyzing the retail process, we came up with an answer that would revolve around modules, each of them responding to a need of  the costumer.
This early sketch gives a rough idea on how we were planning to divide the space into module and function.
This 25 square foot stand-alone module contains all the elements to promote one product : flat tiles, for the floor, stackable tile that will function as a platform and the board that contain the informations for the product that is shown; here the fatboy junior.
The Board is a set of panels that delivers informations to the costumer and each one of them is dedicated to one product. The retailer select the board he needs, thus promoting the products that fit to most to its business.
The Line is the display for fatboy''s accessories. Inspired by the city skyline, it is made of the same materialas the one used to make the fatboy.
The Wall is the point of access to the entire community where everyone can upload picture of their fatboy.A customised user-interface allows the customer to go through the different products and to get informationabout which one of them is best suited for him.
Based in Montréal, the Nuspace is the store of Nuline. We've used it to put the concept in context and toshow that it would be easily scalable, adding modules the more space you have.
Thanks to theThanks to the scheme adopted, the costumer is brought through the whole space, following what catches his eyes. This emotional journey ensure that the costumer will naturally follow the retail process enabling a deep andimmersive experience of the products and the brand.
