Errol Park is a Scottish mansion with a quirky history. The current owners won the house in a game of poker and its owners have included an Olympic pistol-shooting champion (Walter W. Winans) and a Naval Officer who captured Napoleon (Frederick Lewis Maitland). The house is a venue for weddings, celebrations, dining, sport and other activities.
The task was to create an identity that celebrates the house and nods to it’s quirky past.
The Solution: a quirky identity that characterises the house itself as the front and centre of the brands existence. The logo features an etching-style illustration of the house and the roof has been modified to form an ‘E’, creating a symbol that celebrates the house and adds both a bit of quirkiness and ownablility/memorability through using the first letter of the estate name.
