Brief:
To create a poster that can create social awareness to a targeted audience in Singapore about landmines.
The key message of this poster:
"Performance is Opportunity"
Giving the landmine victims an opportunity to perform on stage and to help their other fellow victims
Bringing amputees that were affected by landmines together to form a contemporary dance troupe to perform on stage. The goals are to give the amputees the hope to survive instead of living in despair, gain the disabled pride in them, regain their confidence to overcome challenges that they faced and become independent. Introducing the hobby of dancing, building up their interests in dancing and to perform on stage eventually could give them a sense of participation and self-accomplishment. Helping them to forget the pain they had after the landmine incident for the time being. Let them enjoy the feeling on stage and encouragement given to them from the audiences’ applause.
On the other hand, it is a ticket selling dance performance, the amount of money collected from every performance will be donated to ban landmines organizations to help the affected countries.
