Palm Oil = Deforestation

Palm Oil = Deforestation
The theme of my project is the relationship between palm oil and deforestation. The production of palm oil is the reason for palm tree plantations. Palm oil is in many kinds of food like cake mix, Oreos, candy bars, processed foods, soaps, shampoos, cereals, granola bars, etc. The oil doesn't harm a person; it's just how they produce it. For years the protected lands in Indonesia have been taken over by palm tree plantations. Doing this decreases the rainforest's hectares, thereby leaving many animals without homes. When the animals have no homes, they soon go on the endangered species list. Some foundations protect these animals, like orangutans and elephants, but it's not enough. People need to be aware of what's happening and take action where they can.
Creation to Plantation... Destruction caused by humans.
Plantation to Deforestation... Palm fruit takes place of wildlife
Deforestation to Flames... Fire burns out endangered species.
