My mother has always loved headlights. Since I was little I remember that lighthouses have always been one of the most important destinations of our family trips in Europe. We have seen several here in Italy but also in France, Spain, Portugal and Ireland. A dream of her would surely to be able to sleep in one of them, which is why I started looking on the internet for lighthouses that could also host, I found some but the search was quite complex. So I asked myself: why not to design an app with all the European lighthouses where you can book accommodation?

Here's how I imagined a possible interface.

I thought of a minimal graphic and photographic style because it recalls the Scandinavian world that immediately takes you back to the ocean, the vast cliffs, deserted beaches and desolate places.

I also took into consideration the vintage graphic style that is reminiscent of the world of sailors. Like old rum bottle labels, old postage stamps and postmarks.
