Nascido na cidade histórica de São João del-Rei, no interior de Minas Gerais, Carlos Calsavara teve o privilégio de experimentar, desde cedo, duas vertentes da cidade: de um lado, a liberdade e o contato com a natureza na comunidade italiana de agricultores onde cresceu, conhecida como Colônia do Marçal; de outro, o convívio com a tradição, história e arquitetura cuidadosamente desenhada no Centro Histórico, onde acompanhava os pais em festas religiosas.
About
Born in the historic city of São João del-Rei, in the interior of Minas Gerais, Carlos Calsavara had the privilege of experiencing, from an early age, two aspects of the city: on the one hand, freedom and contact with nature in the Italian community of farmers where it grew up, known as Colonia do Marçal; on the other, living with tradition, history and carefully designed architecture in the Historic Center, where he accompanied his parents to religious festivals.
Conceito criativo
Para o projeto de identidade visual busca se trazer um cunho artístico arcaico remetendo as suas técnicas milenares de pintura e escultura ao mesmo tempo que se conversa com sua arte contemporânea em suas obras mais autorais.
Trazendo assim um logo tipografia junto a um símbolo para reafirmar sua especialidade.
Creative concept
For the visual identity project, it seeks to bring an archaic artistic nature, referring to his ancient techniques of painting and sculpture, while talking to his contemporary art in his most authorial works.
Thus bringing a typography logo together with a symbol to reaffirm its specialty.
