What will happen when bread is a way of measurement. We can use bread to measure length, shape, and color. It must be very fun because the unit may be not accurate. We think it is emotional measurement. Why this world need to be so precise. Why not bread can be used to measure our world. I think it was a fun work.

 

The front page of the poster is the introduction of bread. We bought some bread from the shop and took photos. The motivation is that we want to introduce some kind of bread and use them to measure. Also, front has the introduction of croissant bread, pineapple bread, france bread, caviar bread, garlic bread, and sticks bread. The bird shape is matched to every kind of bread and the size of the bread. 

We cut some bread into section and use illustrator to made these profiles more like some easy shape. Very close to round and oval. It may be used like a elliptical plate to measure the shape. For example, you can go to a shop and ask, "I want to buy a mouse like the profile of the france bread." The same as color, we use eye dropper tool to drop the color from the bread. Every little round's color is from each bread. So, you can use these colors from the bread you like.
