Boris is a plant with a whole new identity. Instead of just being a quiet plant it will get pet's qualities as complaining when it doesn't get watered, or when the temperature is too low or too high. 
It will let you know through an LCD screen and through audio feedback, trying to get your attention through barking as a dog.
The project is realized with Arduino, and the use of a humidity/temperature sensor.
