Ever since I read about the agave fields, I became obsessed with producing a photo essay about the legendary Jimadores.
Five years in the making and a global pandemic later, I can finally share with you the result of the campaign I produced for the good people at Tequila Ocho.
Mingling for days with the field workers, learning the process of producing tequila, having breakfast (and trying tequila for the first time) on the field, and being deep in the Highlands of Jalisco-Mexico, made me feel like being back in my own countryside and where I belong creatively.
