Ocean bottom acquisition is a marine seismic acquisition approach in the latest decades, ocean bottom seismic is high-quality, cost-effective acquisition technology that offers the best quality seabed solutions for a range of environments. This seabed acquisition is growing rapidly in the area of the seismic market. In seismic acquisition receivers can be ocean bottom cables or nodes, cables can be positioned in the receiver boat and ocean bottom nodes are positioned on the ocean bottom. These cables are worked in shallow water areas less than 1km in depth and ocean bottom nodes work in the water from tens of meters to thousand of meters deep.
