This project was a personal project for my Mum. My mum has been a keen baker since she was younger and has always baked cakes and other baked goods for family and friends. She doesn't do it as a business, only purely as she enjoys it - and they are delicious!
I thought it was about time she had a logo that she could use on Facebook page to be able to showcase all of the cakes she makes, as they are all brilliant.
I started off by creating the cake illustration and created it in a purple colour as that's my Mum's favourite colour. I then chose a font to go with it and it all came together.
I created a mock up of a business card, just for fun, as well as a Facebook profile picture, where I placed the logo in a circle. This then inspired me to create some stickers that Mum could stick on her cake boxes when she gives people their cakes.
I really enjoyed creating this as it was just a bit of fun, but I'm really pleased with the end result and my Mum is too.
