The P.T.S.C.

On a recent trip to London we found a personal appreciation for the London Underground logo. The Iconic Underground Logomark was created over 100 years ago by Edward Johnston in 1919 and continues to inspire works all around the world. Some err on the side of originality while others find themselves being a bit more derivative. This is our offering.

In creating this project we aim to be situated squarely in the middle of compellingly original and clearly derivative. An element that functions as an homage to the timeless quality of Johnston's original treatment and a step forward for the Public Transport Service Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (P.T.S.C.). Simultaneously combining elements of our favourite travel posters and campaigns of the 1960's, blending-in contemporary influences, and giving a distinct personality and tone of voice to all messages and communication.
