Figula Sóskút Olaszrizling Dűlőválogatás 2013
Label design concept_01 for 'Cégér' wine label competition
In case of the first wine etiquette our design approach is analytique. The starting point was the local qualities of the “Sóskút” wine region focusing at the composition of soil being the pillar of the given wine. The structure of the soil defines the properties of the wine, its flavor, its level of salty- mineral quality that makes it unique. We have emphasized on this structure in a visual form.
You can see the different layers pictured as swell-rules differing in thickness, inclination angle and density.
The portrayed stratification also refers to the complex process of the constant conformation of the grape. The graphic elements of the wine etiquette merge into one perspicuous and clean system.
However it has playful elements such as the arrow on the right side of the etiquette that shows the 300m altitude above sea-level.
This element reappears on the special packaging box but this time to underline the vintage. The minimalist black and white colors represent the elegancy and the fool body of the wine and at the same time you can spot a hint of green implying that the wine
you hold in your hands is white.
