Creativity

This is an animation I made many years ago as part of my graduation from art school. It was accompanied by a thesis in which I explored the economic value of creativity vs the broad belief that creativity is something owned by Gifted People, instead of a skill that can be learned by everybody. In other words: if creativity is a key asset of a healthy economy, are we in the hands of 'the creative class', or can everyone be part of this class if we want to.

The whole thing was heavily inspired by Richard Florida's 'The Rise of the Creative Class' and Edward de Bono's thoughts on lateral thinking.

Although I know look at the film as a somewhat clumsy animation, the content can still consume me from time to time.
