Established in 2002, Amethyst Textile Ltd is a textile company based in Mauritius. The company has recently been acquired to become a family business, managed primarily by two young brothers.
The clients’ aim was to develop a sophisticated brand identity that would help them target high-end brands established in South-Africa. The brand had to reflect a professional, fresh, youthful and trendy identity with a discrete Arabic influence, while keeping the original name ‘Amethyst’.
Crealys designed a symbol inspired by modern Arabic architecture and calligraphy that was placed above the company name, written in a tailor-made modern and fresh font. The combination formed a logo that expressed just what the clients were looking for. We incorporated the same sophisticated design in each and every communication collateral ensuring a consistent brand identity. Crealys also provided the clients with a visual identity guideline book so that they can keep the same consistency throughout the lifespan of their company.
