This illustration was my first step into Adobe Illustrator. Simple was my goal for this piece. As for subjects go, it took me a while to think of a simple, yet compelling subject to illustrate. Then, I suddenly remembered how much I love orcas. They're such intelligent, yet bizarre creatures. But most importantly, they are relatively simple to draw. Although I was new to Illustrator at this point, I'm proud of this work.
