A book cover design inspired by Thom Yorke’s life and musical work.
Insight
If I were to describe Thom Yorke with two words, it would be “beyond” and “immortal.” Orange is the thematic color of the Thom Yorke Anima album; it reminds me of my favorite fizzy drink, it evokes something dreamy and full of enthusiasm yet hints at danger and even anxiety. “Yo” is a part of “Yorke” but is also used as a form of greeting. It doubles as a whimsical greeting to all of the readers of this book.
Outcome
From the color and font usage to the book cover design, these elements come together to abundantly express Thom Yorke’s personal and musical style.
